Uke are a Beginner 1.0

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

6 Weeks: January 30 - March 5

Aloha! Welcome to the happiest instrument on the planet! I’m excited to start this 4-string journey with you. 

 

In Uke are a Beginner 1.0 you’ll learn:

  • How to tune and hold your ukulele like you love it

  • To strum basic chords in fun and approachable songs

  • Pick simple melodies

  • All this while learning songs from multiple genres

 

Experience: None! You’re a beginner, so you’re in the right place.

 

To bring: 

  1. An ukulele (soprano, concert, or tenor)

  2. a tuner 

  3. a music stand (this will make your life at home easier too, trust me)

Location: In-Person. My Home Studio in the Whittier Neighborhood (near 23rd Ave / Lafayette St)

 

Only 8 spots available to allow for small group learning and individualized attention.

Uke are a Beginner 2.0

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

6 Weeks: March 12 - April 30 (no class 3/26 and 4/9)

 

Now that you’ve got some skills under your fingers, let’s put them to use! In 2.0, we will build on the techniques from 1.0 through a variety of songs to add to your songbook.

 

Experience: Uke are a Beginner 1.0

 

To bring:
